The story behind the apartment
It all started in March 2020, during the first lockdown. Cédric visited a vacant apartment at 6 Boulevard du Général de Gaulle, in the "Le Château" residence — a historic building fully restored in the 1990s, facing the towers of the Castle of the Dukes of Anjou. It was love at first sight: he bought it and immediately pictured what it could become.
Weeks of work followed: sound and thermal insulation, a completely redesigned interior, renewed equipment — kitchen, bedding, fibre wifi, a smart lock for self check-in at any hour. The apartment then opened as a furnished rental with one simple idea: give guests the exceptional view and location of the place, inside an interior kept as carefully as a home.
The apartment today
35 m² for up to 4 guests (2 in the bedroom, 2 on the living-room sofa bed): a living room with a direct view of the castle, a quiet bedroom, an equipped kitchenette, fibre wifi and a modern shower room. Angers Saint-Laud station is a 5-minute walk away, and the apartment is maintained and improved on an ongoing basis by Cédric.
